RainbowNote 2.9 Released!

RainbowNote ver.2.9 is now available in AppStore.
The main new feature is social sharing support (iOS6〜). You can now post a note to Facebook, Twitter and MMS / SMS / iMessage.

You can select the sharing destination from the menu below, after tapping the send button on the note editor page.

You can post a message with photos to Facebook and Twitter (Post to Twitter accepts one photo).

You can download the free (lite) version of RainbowNote in AppStore.

RainbowNote 2.8 Released!

New version of RainbowNote (v.2.8) is now available in AppStore.

This update contains the fix for the Google sync problem that occurs on uploading notes with images to Google Docs. Avoiding the server side failure on client side is a difficult task, it took time before we fixed it. Sorry for the long inconvenience.

In addition to the fix, the update has new features below.

New Features

✦ Photo Frame

In addition to background and font settings, you can choose photo frame design for each note (from 5 kinds).

✦ Multiple Photo Insertion

You can add multiple photos (up to 5) at once from photo library.

✦ Photo Library UI improvement

From this version photo thumbnails of the library is grouped by date.

✦ Caption

You can write a caption for each photo in a note.

✦ Default note’s background on folders

Each folder has its default note’s background settings now. When you add a note in the folder, the default settings will be applied to it.

Sync problem fix version is waiting for approval (RainbowNote)

Since last month, RainbowNote can’t sync notes with images to Google Drive/Docs, because of the server side problem. Yesterday, we have posted the fix version to Apple and it is now waiting for review. Sorry for inconvenience.

From around 10th Dec, RainbowNote hasn’t been able to sync notes with photos to Google Drive because of the server side problem (the detail is here).

Problem: Can’t upload notes with images to Google Drive (RainbowNote)

Currently, from around 10 Dec, RainbowNote can’t upload notes with images to Google Drive.

It is caused by Google’s server-side problem.
We have posted an error report (with error reproduction code) to Google Drive support forum and waiting for their action. Sorry for inconvenience.

The new version of RainbowNote (2.7.6) is ready for sale in AppStore. It contains the fix for Google Drive sync problem previously reported. Please update the application if you have the sync problem.

Currently, when you sync RainbowNote with Goggle Drive (Docs), there is a problem that some unmodified notes will be sent to trash in RainbowNote. We have posted the fix version to Apple and it is waiting for review. Sorry for inconvenience.

This update fixes the compatibility problem with iOS6 (some buttons on navigation bar or toolbar don’t respond to touches).

Currently, the latest version of RainbowNote (v2.7) doesn’t work well on iOS6. Some important bar buttons like “Back” button from editor page to list page don’t respond to touches. We have posted the fix version and waiting for the Apple’s approval. Sorry for inconvenience.
